ASEAN-JAPAN CENTRE Building Bridges, Connecting Heart to Heart

Connect ASEAN-Japan

The ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC) has served as a bridge between the ASEAN Member States and Japan for more than 40 years since its establishment in 1981.
It has been engaged in a variety of activities to promote trade, investment, tourism and people-to-people exchanges to connect ASEAN and Japan.

In 2023, ASEAN and Japan celebrated the 50th Year of Friendship and Cooperation, and the Commemorative Summit was held in Tokyo.

Based on the Vision Statement adopted at the Summit by the leaders of the ASEAN Member States and Japan, the AJC aims to deepen the "heart-to-heart" relationship between ASEAN and Japan, and together build a peaceful, sustainable, inclusive and prosperous society.

Towards a heart-to-heart connection between ASEAN and Japan!
