Participation with MIDA in T-Messe2023

Disseminating Information on investing opportunities to Malaysia’s high-tech industry

The booth, along with the seminar titled “Investment Opportunities in High Technology Industry in Malaysia” by Malaysia Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Tokyo specifically targeted this fair’s visitors. Rather than giving a general overview, industry-specific presentations seemed to draw-in more persons.

Expanding target audience

22 organizations visited the booth, ranging from electronic parts supplier to trading firms in the Hokuriku region, where Toyama prefecture is located. Since such events are often concentrated in densely populated areas, this fair was a crucial opportunity to expand our reach. The visitors were highly engaged in conversations with MIDA representatives at the booth.

Way Forward

ASEAN-Japan Centre will continue to collaborate with MIDA to expand reach to Japanese investors, promote parties to make fruitful connections, and support sustainable impact investments to ASEAN.

Event Information

The ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC) co-organized the booth on investment opportunities in Malaysia with the Malaysia Investment Development Authority (MIDA). During the two-day participation at T-Messe2023 from October 26 to 27th, MIDA met with 22 organizations who visited the booth, and 23 whom attended the seminar.

T-Messe is a biannual event exhibiting manufacturing techniques and products to promote economic exchange. The fair was held fully in-person after four years, with approximately 300 exhibitors from Japan and overseas.
