
The ASEAN-Japan Centre held the “Philippine Destination Seminar” in collaboration with the Philippine Department of Tourism, and Japan Philippines Tourism Council on June 11, at the ASEAN-Japan Hall in the Centre. The seminar aimed to provide the latest tourism information of the Philippines for travel industry professionals.
A total of 64 participants attended the event. The program featured updates on travel information and key tourist destinations presented by Department of Tourism, Philippines, and the Philippines Airlines and the Cebu Pacific Air explained their flight network, connecting service and other services including for group travelers.

According to the post-event questionnaire (35 responses), 37.1% of respondents reported being “very satisfied,” while 48.6% reported being “satisfied,” indicating a high level of overall satisfaction. (No participant answered dissatisfied.) In addition, 91.4% respondents that the seminar was useful for their business. (No participants answered it was not useful.)
The ASEAN-Japan Centre will continue to work closely with relevant partners to promote initiatives that contribute to the development of the tourism sector.
