AJYBB Youth Co-Creation Lab 2026: Call for Participants – Meet, Talk, Create (Application due: 26 July)

Date held

Have you ever wondered what you could create together with friends from ASEAN and Japan?

The ASEAN-Japan Centre is pleased to launch the AJYBB Youth Co-Creation Lab 2026, a new initiative under the ASEAN-Japan Young Bridge Builders Network (AJYBB).

Got an idea for connecting ASEAN and Japan? This is your chance to make it happen. Instead of participating in a one-time exchange event, team up with young changemakers, co-create a project, and turn your idea from a concept into reality.

This programme brings together young people from Japan and ASEAN countries living in Japan to meet, exchange ideas, and develop projects that promote mutual understanding and friendship across borders.

Based on the proposals developed during the Lab, two selected projects will receive support from the ASEAN-Japan Centre, including mentoring, logistical assistance, and a small project budget, and the selected projects will be implemented by the end of FY2026.

What You Will Do

Working in mixed-nationality teams, participants will:

  • Meet and connect with youth from ASEAN and Japan
  • Share experiences, interests, and perspectives
  • Identify common challenges and opportunities
