Get to Know Us!
Thailand is among the world’s top contributors to marine plastic pollution, generating over 73,000 tons of waste every day — with more than 30% left unmanaged. As Thai students who see this problem in our own communities, we knew we had to act. That’s why we created Beyond the Cap — a campaign that turns everyday plastic waste into something meaningful. Through cap and bottle collection drives, upcycling workshops, and community action, we make the impact of recycling visible and tangible: 10,000 caps become a school desk, 15 bottles become a monk robe. We especially believe in the power of youth — because when young people understand that their small actions lead to real outcomes, awareness turns into habit, and habit turns into change. We are Loopers — and we believe small actions, done consistently, can loop back into lasting change.
