Japan is recognized as a global leader in plastic waste management, yet it remains one of the highest consumers of single-use plastics per capita. Witnessing the growing impact of marine debris in coastal areas such as Itoshima and Osaka Bay, we felt a strong need to take action beyond awareness alone. Our project addresses this challenge by combining snorkeling with beach cleanup, creating an experience centered on recreation with purpose. By situating individuals within the problem itself, we aim to transform passive awareness into impactful change. Let’s “See it to Solve it!”
