The ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC), in collaboration with the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), invites everyone to join the ASEAN Business Forum: “ASEAN-Japan: Stronger Together – Opportunities for Japanese Business in the ASEAN Region.”
Background
The ASEAN region remains one of the most dynamic and fast-growing markets in the world. With strong economic fundamentals, digital innovation, and a growing consumer base, ASEAN offers strategic business and investment opportunities for Japanese companies. In light of the celebration of the 58th ASEAN Special Day at Expo 2025 Osaka (8 August) and the visit of H.E. Mr. Satvinder Singh, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Economic Community, to Kansai, Japan, the forum presents a timely occasion to enhance visibility and promote practical collaboration between ASEAN and Japan in the post-Expo era.
Introduction
This forum seeks to provide Japanese businesses with key updates on ASEAN’s trade and investment landscape and offer practical insights into opportunities emerging across the region. Featuring a keynote by H.E. Mr. Satvinder Singh, a dynamic panel discussion with the ASEAN Member States or Japanese private sector leaders, and a business networking session, the forum creates a platform for fostering mutual understanding and deeper engagement.
It is going to be a valuable opportunity for businesses to hear directly from ASEAN leadership and regional experts on where the next wave of growth and partnership lies.
