Get to Know Us!

According to the UNDP, Myanmar produces around 2.4 million tons of waste annually, with nearly 10% being plastic. Much of this plastic is mismanaged due to a lack of infrastructure and awareness. But as we work to tackle this issue, we’ve asked ourselves a critical question: Who is being left out of the conversation?

“ReCircle” project focuses on empowering people with disabilities, one of the most overlooked groups when it comes to environmental education. By offering inclusive plastic waste education, hands-on upcycling training, and youth-led facilitation, we aim to create a future where no one is left behind in the fight against plastic pollution. We will also host an online campaign encouraging young filmmakers or film enthusiasts to produce awareness films on plastic pollution. Together, we envision a future where everyone, regardless of ability, plays a role in shaping a sustainable, circular economy.
