Team Name: Glocal Ocean Reformer

Get to Know Us! 

All members of our team are students of Akita International University in Japan.  

Akita, where our school is located, is facing the problem of marine garbages, and also the issue of aging population.  

Therefore, as community members in Akita, we are working on cleaning up beach in Akita and making accessories from marine plastic wastes.  

Also, we are going to held workshops in school and near Akita Station, aiming to involve widely generation to our project, which can contribute to regional revitalization at the same time as addressing a marine plastic problem.
