As global efforts toward decarbonization accelerate, companies are increasingly required to pursue business strategies that balance greenhouse gas emission reduction with sustainable growth. Across ASEAN, growing energy demand and economic expansion are accompanied by the development of renewable energy initiatives and carbon markets, creating new investment and business opportunities in the decarbonization sector.
Singapore has positioned itself as a regional hub for green finance and carbon credit trading while actively advancing policies toward a low-carbon and net-zero future. At the same time, cooperation with ASEAN countries continues to expand, offering Japanese companies strategic entry points for regional business development.
This seminar will introduce the latest trends in decarbonization investment across ASEAN, with Singapore serving as a gateway, and explore business opportunities through the utilization of carbon credits. Through policy updates, corporate case studies, and expert insights on ASEAN carbon markets, the seminar aims to provide practical perspectives for Japanese corporates seeking their next growth strategy under GX (Green Transformation).
