1) Workshop on Sustainable Tourism: Crisis Management
The Centre will organize online session for management-level tourism stakeholders in the ASEAN Member States to share and discuss tourism crisis management issues.
2) Theme-based Tourism Promotion
Topics highlighted this year are educational travel and gastronomy attractions of the AMS. The Centre will also organize webinars on timely topics.
3) CLMV Tourism Promotion
With an aim to promote Mekong region tourism, the Centre will organize a programme for tourism front-liners of Mekong countries. Additionally, rich tourism attractions of Mekong region will be introduced to the Japanese general public.
4) Training Program on Interpretation
The Centre conducts an online training programme for managers of tourism sites and NTOs in the ASEAN Member States. Participants will learn sustainable tourism promotion as well as how to design useful interpretation service to visitors.
5) Tourism P.R. Activities
The PR activities include participation in major tourism and international events. In addition, the Centre strengthens its networks with ASEAN tourism partners by participating in ASEAN Tourism Forum and other relevant meetings.
6) Tourism Information Services
The Centre distributes maps and brochures, and provides information through website, online newsletters and social media.
