The ASEAN-Japan Centre conducted a travel sentiment survey on Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Viet Nam, targeting Japanese female Instagram users in their 20s & 30s.
The survey was conducted in January 2021. The results contain how social media plays a role as a platform to collect travel information. It also portrays how young female travelers feel about CLMV destinations such as their favorite attractions and their concerns towards the destinations.
The survey results are available in PDF. Please use them as a reference material to produce post-COVID-19 tour packages and promote this region as tourism destination .
The ASEAN-Japan Centre will also organize a webinar to introduce the survey results by welcoming Ms. Yui Hiramatsu, the Manager of Marketing Solution Dept. from Valise Inc, a company that the Centre commissioned to undertake the survey.
