 Tourism Promotion Seminar in Myanmar

 How to captivate Japanese quality tourists to Myanmar

Tourism & Exchange Division and the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism Myanmar jointly organized a tourism promotion seminar in Yangon to promote the outbound tourism from Japan to Myanmar in order to contribute to sustainable tourism development in Myanmar.

In this seminar, a tourism expert from Japan gave a presentation on the latest market and tendencies of Japanese high-end travelers, based on case studies and data, as well as success cases on other destinations which are popular among Japanese quality tourists.  40 people participated in the seminar, including governments, travel agents, land operators, local hoteliers, Japanese speaking tourist guides and media.  Myanmar tourism sector is keen to receive not only business travelers but also more tourists from Japan.
