Lecture by SG Fujita
Mr. Masataka Fujita, Secretary General of the AJC, gave a lecture to a group of youth participating in the JENESYS* program on January 31, 2017 in Tokyo. The group was the six batch of the JENESYS 2016 Economics, consisting of 249 young business persons as well as students from the 10 ASEAN Member States, India and the East Timor. It was the third time in FY2016 for SG Fujita to deliver a lecture to the JENESYS participating youth.
In his lecture, SG Fujita briefed the group on the evolving economic relations between the ASEAN Member States and Japan, followed by a talk on the nexus of trade and investment and economic integration.
SG Fujita was accompanied by Mr. Moe Chai, Director of the Trade and Investment Division, Mr. Vathouniyom Douangmala, Director of the Tourism and Exchange Division, Mr. Virak Khuon, Assistant Director for Trade and Ms. Nor Zerlina Hj Momin, Assistant Director for Investment, who gave briefings on the AJC’s roles and related activities prior to his talk.
