ASEAN-Japan Centre conducted a school-visit to Tsurukawa Daisan Elementary School.

Class: 4th grade (3 classes)
In the school-visit program, Cambodian, Laotian, and Filipino nationals living in Japan introduced their home countries to the 4th grade students. Each class received lectures from all three countries enabling students to deepen their understanding by comparing them. In the class, students reacted positively to the beautiful pictures of tourism destinations of the three countries and said they wanted to visit there. In the second half of the class, a Cambodian children’s game “Leak Kanseng”, a Lao dance, and a song in Tagalog were introduced for students to experience the culture and traditions of each country.
