ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC) conducted the 2nd Online Lecture for the Hiroshima ASEAN Eco-School for Marine Plastic Waste Education (Pilot Programme) on September 13 and 14, 2021 at Hiroshima Prefectural Toyota Senior High School. 33 Senior High School student age 15 and 16 participated in this online lecture. This Programme is co-organized by Hiroshima ASEAN Association and supported by the Hiroshima Prefecture Board of Education.
In this Programme, the “Future Leaders” who developed “Future Leaders’ Declaration on ASEAN-Japan Cooperation for International Marine Plastic Waste” in connection with AJC’s FY2020 Programme volunteered to serve as lecturers for online lectures. For Hiroshima Prefectural Toyota Senior High School, Ms. MASUDA, Haruna (Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies at Kyoto University) presented her lecture in Japanese.
