“Design & Product Development Workshop” is a training program to create awareness on the importance of design and product development for Gifts, Houseware & Decoration, and Furniture & Furnishing products to be exported to Japan. For FY 2009, the program was implemented in Cambodia and Lao PDR in support of the ASEAN’s vision to extend further assistance to new ASEAN members.Three companies from each country were also selected to participate in “interiorlifestyle 2010” at the Tokyo Big Sight during June 2-4, 2010.
