In conjunction with the ASEAN Fair 2011, the Centre conducted ASEAN Tourism Seminar & ASEAN Tourism Night on September 22, 2011 at Swissotel Nankai Osaka.

More than 40 participants from Local government offices and travel trade sector in Osaka attended the seminar. Team leaders from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam presented the potential of river cruise tourism in the Mekong region, followed by presentation on Long Stay by Ms Misuzu Yamada, Marketing Director of Long Stay Foundation.

During ASEAN Tourism Night, participants enjoyed the Mekong Countries’ dances and music performances, and a lucky draw was also conducted.
