Some are under taking as combined activities of Myanmar and Japan in order to increase its acceleration while Myanmar is increasingly providing opportunities for mutual benefit to Japanese stake holders that should be taking consideration for further cooperation of both multi and bilateral purpose. ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (AJCEP) was signed by ASEAN and Japan starting from 28th March to 14th April. For Myanmar, it was signed on 10th April, 2008.

We are keen on further cooperation and diversifying fields to promote trade, investment and tourism with Myanmar that will materialize the common aspirations of Japan and Myanmar by solidifying cordial and friendly relations that will bridging the gaps between Myanmar and Japan and also within ASEAN.

The Embassy of Union of Myanmar in Tokyo is cooperating with all Japanese stakeholders in order to meet both side expectation and willing to issue appropriate visa without taking longer time. I sincerely believe that Myanmar will become one of the attractive destinations in ASEAN for Japanese community.
